Electrasonics was founded in 1973 by Steven J. Lincoln.  Steven grew up in Astoria Queens, New York where his mother and father owned a local candy store and soda fountain.  He is a graduate Electrical Engineer from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York.

Steven always had a passion for electronics and he won numerous awards in school science fairs as a student.  Upon receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, he started his own business by founding Electrasonics.  Steven has always been called "a creative genius in the field of custom electronics".  For a list of some of our prestigious clientèle, please see our Installation section.

Presently, Electrasonics has grown into several divisions.  Although Engineering Consulting is a primary service of Electrasonics, we are also involved with Product Manufacture and Electronic System Installation.

Electrasonics consists of a wonderful team of experienced hardware, software, mechanical and sales engineers.  We also have installation crews, printed circuit board assemblers, field servicemen and technicians.  On every job, Steven Lincoln is still the key player, coordinating the entire team.

Mr. Lincoln has shown himself to be a creative Electrical Engineer and problem solver.  He has also used his creativity to offer extraordinary services and entertainment for weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and other Celebrations.  His unique ideas will help make your event a magical and unforgettable experience for all who attend.

In the near future, Electrasonics will feature a site for the hobbyist and Do-It-Yourself person.  Our on line store will feature hard to get equipment, supplies and components for the person interested in doing his or her own design or installation of a security system, home automation system, video surveillance system and lighting control system.

Many of these items are only available to authorized dealers and businesses.  Electrasonics will be a Value Added Reseller, VAR, of these products by offering assistance with equipment selection, system programming and installation help.  We will take much of the "hard part" out of a project or installation and you will know that help is just an email or phone call away.

Below you will see Steven Lincoln in his PULSE jet car.  The Pulse is actually a cross between a motorcycle and a two seat car.  It features four wheels: one in front for steering, one in back for power, and one wheel in each wing for balance.  The Pulse is equipped with air conditioning, color TV and a DVD player.  Multicolor LED displays on each side of the Pulse can display advertising and tell the story of the Pulse.  At the present time, the Pulse is in the final stages of a total restoration.  It is now red, silver and blue Metalflake with a matching tucked and rolled interior.  Steven was a dealer for the Pulse and about 350 of these unique vehicles were built.
